Rooted Heart Yoga & Art Studio welcomes…
Serena Love @Shewolf Studio - Art to the space! Serena Love doesn’t just paint to create something beautiful, she paints to create noise. She is a passionate and published author and has been practicing visual art for the past 10 years. She has been a featured live artist for audiences of up to 20,000 people and has travelled the country making art for several different individuals and organizations. She has been famously quoted as saying “I won’t tell you what passion is, I will show you.” “I am convinced that a painting is never just a painting. There is a translation that occurs when an artist opens up to other languages outside of a lingual expression. When a painting makes you feel... something...anything, the artist has translated well.” -Serena Love |
Please join me in welcoming Tammy Baduk Art and Design to the studio!
Tammy Baduk is an involved and growing member of the art community in Grande Prairie. Over the past 10 years she has been exposed to many aspects of the art industry in Grande Prairie through employment at the Centre for the Creative Arts, Image Design, Art of the Peace Magazine, and the Fine Arts program at GPRC. Tammy has also contributed artistically to many volunteer projects and built a large personal network through her employment and volunteering. Tammy’s evolution from edgy colorful abstracts to large peaceful textural pieces are just another representation of the way an artist absorbs their surroundings and the vibe of the collective. “I love people, but I can’t wait to get home, draw the blinds, and decompress. I think most people feel this way. Our inner selves constantly change and crave expression in different ways. I like my work to exude a sense of peacefulness and calm. My home is my solace and I want it to reflect that. I would hope my work attracts others that feel similar to me.” You can find examples of Tammy’s work on display at the 2023 Rotary Dream Home and Tammy Baduk Art and Design on Instagram and Facebook. |
