Learn to Hear Yourself Again — and Trust What You Hear.

There are seasons when you’ve been carrying so much, moving so quickly, or taking care of so many things that it becomes difficult to hear yourself underneath all of it.

My work creates space to slow things down. To notice what your body, emotions, patterns, and experiences may already be telling you. To get curious, become honest about what is actually true, and begin rebuilding trust in yourself from there.

You don’t need to arrive knowing exactly what’s wrong or what needs to change. Sometimes we begin simply by noticing.

Your Body Has Been Speaking All Along

I believe we often know more than we realize.

Our bodies respond before we have language for what is happening. We tighten. We soften. We reach. We pull away. We become exhausted. Something feels wrong before we can explain why. Something feels safe before we understand why.

And somewhere along the way, many of us learned to override those signals. We learned to push through exhaustion, explain away discomfort, question our instincts, keep going, take care of everyone else, or search for the answer we think we should have.

I believe there is another way.

We can slow down enough to notice. Get curious instead of immediately judging what we find. Become honest about what is actually true — even when that truth is complicated. And create enough safety within ourselves to listen without immediately needing to fix, explain, or override it.

My work isn’t about becoming another voice that is louder than your own. It’s about helping create the conditions where you can hear yourself again.

Because self-trust isn’t built by always knowing the answer. It grows each time you listen to yourself, stay connected through uncertainty, and discover that you can trust yourself with what comes next.

My body often knew before my mind had words.

Why This Work Matters to Me

For a long time, I was very good at carrying things.

Responsibility. Relationships. Work. Family. Other people’s needs. The next thing that needed to happen.

As a mother in a large family, a partner, business owner, teacher, caregiver, and human who has lived through my own seasons of change and rebuilding, I know what it can feel like to become incredibly capable at holding a life together while becoming less certain where you are inside of it.

I could understand almost anything. Explain it. Make sense of it. Keep functioning through it.

What I didn’t always know how to do was hear myself underneath all of that understanding.

Over time, yoga, nervous system work, meditation, Yoga Nidra, writing, relationships, and my own healing kept bringing me back to the same realization: my body often knew before my mind had words.

And learning to listen changed the way I understood healing.

I became less interested in finding the “right” answer and more interested in what happens when we create enough safety to be curious, honest, and present with what is actually there.

As a queer practitioner, I welcome people across identities, relationships, family structures, and ways of moving through the world. You don’t need to make yourself easier to understand before you arrive here.

What Working Together Can Look Like

There is no single formula for this work because there is no single way to be human.

We may talk. We may notice what happens in your body while you talk. We may get curious about a pattern that keeps appearing, sit with something you don’t have words for yet, explore what feels true underneath what you think you should feel, or find practical ways to bring what you’re discovering into your everyday life.

At the heart of my approach are a few movements we return to again and again:

Notice. What is happening beneath the story? What patterns are appearing? What are you feeling? What is your body communicating? What are you carrying?

Get Curious. Before judging, fixing, or changing what we find, we explore it. Curiosity makes room for information that pressure can bury.

Get Honest. What is actually true for you? Not what should be true. Not what would be easier for everyone else. Honesty gives us somewhere real to begin.

Listen. We create enough space to hear the quieter information beneath the noise — needs, boundaries, emotions, desires, intuition, exhaustion, grief, knowing.

Trust. Self-trust grows through practice. We learn what it feels like to hear yourself and respond rather than continually overriding what you know.

Live. Insight matters when it follows you into your actual life. We explore what you’re discovering inside relationships, family, work, boundaries, rest, choices, and ordinary moments.

Depending on what supports you, sessions may weave together conversation, guided reflection, nervous system education and regulation, somatic awareness, mindfulness, meditation, Yoga Nidra, breath, gentle movement, energy work, or intuitive practices.

Different practices give us different ways of listening. None of them are the destination.

Sessions are responsive rather than scripted and may weave together coaching conversation, nervous system support, somatic awareness, guided reflection, meditation, Yoga Nidra, breath, gentle movement, energy work, or intuitive practices depending on what supports you that day.

You do not need to arrive with a goal or an answer. We can begin with what is here.

$140 + GST per session, or $390 + GST for three sessions prepaid.

Private Nervous System Reset

75 minutes · one-to-one · in person

Sometimes we don’t need to talk our way through what we’re carrying. Sometimes we need an opportunity to experience something different in the body.

Private Nervous System Reset sessions offer individualized space to slow down, reconnect with your body, and explore practices that support your nervous system in the season you are actually in.

Drawing from the Nervous System Reset work I teach at Rooted Heart, your session may include grounding, breath, somatic and intuitive movement, restorative practices, nervous system education, meditation, Yoga Nidra, and deep rest. Rather than following a predetermined class, the experience can respond to you, your body, and what you need that day.

The goal isn’t to make you calm all the time. It is to give you opportunities to notice your nervous system, understand what supports you, and build a relationship with practices you can return to in everyday life.

$140 + GST

Also available as a Private Group Nervous System Reset for six people or less — $225 + GST, plus $25 per additional participant.

Soul-Fed Connection Call

20 minutes · complimentary · online

A gentle starting place to connect, ask questions, and explore whether Soul-Fed Sessions feel like the right fit for you.

This complimentary video call gives us a chance to meet, talk about what is bringing you here and what kind of support you may be looking for, and explore whether working together feels aligned.

Once your call is booked, I’ll send you a short reflection form by email so I can begin to understand what you’re moving through and what is bringing you to this work.

This isn’t a full coaching session. It’s simply a grounded place to begin — with connection, clarity, and no pressure to have everything figured out.

A Few Things I Believe

  • The body often knows before the mind has words.
  • Curiosity creates possibilities that judgment closes down.
  • Honesty gives us somewhere real to begin.
  • Self-trust grows through listening to ourselves, not through always getting it right.
  • Regulation isn’t about being calm all the time. It’s about building the capacity to stay connected to yourself through what you feel.
  • Rest isn’t something you have to earn by carrying enough first.
  • Healing doesn’t stay inside one person. It changes how we show up in our relationships, families, work, and communities.
  • You don’t need another person to become the authority on your life.

You Don't Have to Know What You Need Yet

Maybe you know something feels different. Maybe you’re exhausted from carrying too much. Maybe your body has been asking for your attention. Maybe you’ve changed, and your life hasn’t quite caught up yet.

Maybe there is something you already know but haven’t been ready to say out loud. Or maybe you’re simply curious about what you might hear if you finally had enough space to listen.

You don’t need to arrive with an answer. We can begin with what’s here.
